Hymns: Brother/Sister

Hymns, a North Carolina band currently based in New York City, recorded their debut album Brother/Sister recorded in Celeste, Texas. If you travel around that much, you will get a souped up record that puts the twang in rock or vice versa.

Vocalist Brian Harding listened to a lot of early seventies Neil Young, barely reaching the high notes. If you like "the ditch trilogy", you have pretty good what Brother/Sister sounds like. Stylish slide touches and warm Wurlitzer organ sounds included.

Hymns: Brother/Sister

Brian Harding: vocals, guitar
Matt shaw: bass
Jason Roberts: guitar, Wurlitzer
Tony Kent: drums

Brother/Sister is released on Blackland Records.
