Porcelain: Adios Betty

Porcelain is a post-rock band from France with a singer who can sing in English without the inspector Clouseau accent. Their third album Adios Betty is an exploration of 21st Century new wave mixed with sixties blues - it all comes together in the John Lennon tribute -It's Yer Blues John-. Mastered by Bob Katz (Steve Hackett, Taj Mahal, Winton Marsalis) the band weaves structured songs that never get cluttered despite the doubled guitar and keyboard.

Porcelain is definitely a French band, with singer Francois Barriet contributing the UK melodic touch. There is no conflict between music and the voice. The two parts fit together like an intricate jigsaw puzzle.

Porcelain:
Francois Barriet: vocals, guitar, keyboards
Nicolas Levasseur: guitars, keyboards, background vocals
Yvan Le Guennec: bass, background vocals
Sébastien Verhulst: drums, background vocals
