We Were Promised Jetpacks: These Four Walls

Edinburgh post-rockers We Were Promised Jetpacks create a dense sound on their debut album These Four Walls. Claustrophic songs with singer Adam Thompson screaming above the din. The songs are built to last, creating a Hadrian's Wall of Sound. Sean Smith is dropping bombs on his bass, the Mike Palmer and Thompson guitar tandem are locked in a groove, but they all follow the marching drums of Darren Lackie.

We Were Promised Jetpacks is a band you will want catch to live in a packed small venue. For fans of the poppier side of The Jesus and Mary Chain.

We Were Promised Jetpacks:
Michael Palmer: guitar
Sean Smith: bass
Darren Lackie drums
Adam Thompson: guitar, vocals
