Punk and rawk veterans team up. Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls) and Cheetah Chrome (Rocket From The Tombs/Dead Boys), bassist Enzo Penizzotto and drummer Thommy Price, the rhythm section of Joan Jett’s band, The Blackhearts, are Batusis. They have recorded a 4-song EP and will make their live debut at SXSW in Austin, TX. Next stop: the UK for an extensive club tour in May.
The self-titled EP will be released by Smog Veil Records in the US and UK on May 4, 2010. Punk goes green - it will be available on collectable multi-colored vinyl, with eco-friendly recycled content jacket and full color two-sided insert, and also on digital download.
