Most people like to stay out of trouble, avoiding risks if they can help it. They will never know that artist like Doctors & Dealers exist. This one woman project has been making in Sweden for quite some time. Stockholm based singer-songwriter Sparrow Lindgren has released two full lengths and is currently preparing number three. A 4-track EP Trouble is a stop gap release before Every Sinner Has A Future hits the shops in early 2011.

Lindgren worked with longtime co-conspirator Anders Lager and there were no other musicians involved. They conjured up a fairytale world where vaudeville and jazz are delivered in musical technicolor with the just the two of them. Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor) took care of the production. Her voice is a bit like Obi Best's, and Amanda Palmer comes to mind when dissecting the arrangements.
