Slang Chickens: My Floor

Lapsteel guitar infused country garage. My Floor, the new EP by Slang Chickens mixes Nineties indie cool with a West Coast sense of melody, singing about danger, drugs and guns.

Jeffrey Lee Pierce of The Gun Club is one of their heroes and singer Evan Weiss comes close in projecting his lyrical aloofness. Drummer Dash Hutton is the band's MVP, laying down a beat that is halfway between the Pixies and The Beach Boys.

Slang Chickens:
Dash Hutton: drums
Brandon Intelligator: guitar, lapsteel
Brandon Rauch: bass
Evan Weiss: vocals
