Art vs. Science: Magic Fountain

Aussie dance punk rockers Art vs. Science are pretty big down under. A short tour in March is all over the USA in March, promoting their Magic Fountain EP, their first USA release.

Parlez Vous Francais? and the title track are the most notable songs, the latter has all the trappings of becoming a raver dance rock anthem. Patty time music with the odd bit of criticism thrown in.

Art vs. Science:
Jim Finn: keyboards, bass, vocals
Dan McNamee: keyboards, guitar, vocals
Dan Williams: drums, vocals

Art vs. Science: Magic Fountain

Magic Fountain EP will be released on March 15th via Beverly Martel.

Tracks:
  1. Magic Fountain
  2. Friend in the Field
  3. Flippers
  4. Parlez Vous Francais?
  5. Hollywood

The track listing is quite different from the Aussie version. It's basically their debut self-titled EP, with Magic Fountain replacing Take Me to Your Leader. The Aussie original had three different versions of Magic Fountain, a live track and alternate mix of Parlez Vous Francais? - for a band with a pretty slim discography things are awfully confusing. The Experiment, their debut full length, was released in Australia last week. And yes, Magic Fountain is on it.

(Rooftop Stage, w/ The Jezabels, Cloud Control & Washington)
