UK Space rock band One Unique Signal are have secure the support slot for to The Telescopes on their upcoming European tour. They have just released the free digital single Salon Echoic b/w 88. Shoegaze with a healthy of psychedelic pop, about halfway The Jesus and Mary Chain and Spacemen 3.
Dense music with a rugby scrum-like multiple guitars section. Salon Echoic is a bit more upbeat than the bleak 88, a song that deserves to be serious contender for the soundtrack for a future documentary about the 2011 Summer riots in London.
Scary but in a good way.
