Dutch hardhitting power rock band Daybroke have released a new EP. Burn It To The Ground finds them channeling their heroes (Foo Fighters, Soundgarden). The lyrics need some work, but there nothing wrong with the vibe is there. The title track is radio-friendly mainstream rocker, but the standout track is Cosmic Candy Store, with layered vocals and rumbling drums and guitars culminating into a fist-pumping anthem, which has encore favorite written all over it.
Their Blue-collar no-frills was well received in their hometown Tilburg and they are making inroads into the Dutch club circuit this a band that will rely on word-of-mouth, picking up fans one a the time up along the way.
