Engloria: Evolver

Has punk gone soft? Are they afraid to spell "fuck" and "cunt" using all four letters? Albany trio Engloria look the part, dress the part and try to play but come up short. Their album Evolver sport a parental advisory sticker but it's about as dangerous as a puppy.

They have borrowed a bunch played to death riffs from the Nineties and are selling them as rock anthems. A few middle of the road ballads to wow the suburban chicks and presto. In the parlance of today's hipsters: meh. Next.

Engloria:
James Stewart: vocals, guitar
Brandon Stewart: drums, vocals
Michael Gleason: bass
