A new retrospective box set collects the solo output of former Can bass player and sound wizard Holger Czukay. Cinema is released on CD and vinyl thru Grónland Records. The set features his solo work, previously unreleased tracks as well some of the music that he made with Brian Eno, Jah Wobble and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
The 5 CD/ 5LP set is sequenced in chronological order, kicking off with his solo debut album Movies. The vinyl version comes with a bonus 7", Vinyl Video. And yes, there is actual footage on that one, the video for Cool In The Pool and an introduction by Czukay about it.
