Violinist Hannah Thiem straddles the fence between folk and electronic ambient music on her new EP Brym. She searches for new ways to implement a traditional instrument into modern day downtempo.
Rest assured, this is not boring New Age muzak, but the culmination of her musical travels, with Eastern European and Scandinavian music as the launchpad for her compositions: layered, cinematic soundscapes that dig deep.
