Remember cassettes? They never went away. In fact, the medium is still pretty big in South Korea and India. Indie bands have discovered the cheap format to distribute their music. To celebrate the second edition of Cassette Store Day happens on September 27th, with participating stores in the UK, the USA, Canada, Greece, Belgium, Finland, Japan, Denmark and Germany. and like its big sister Record Store Day there will be special releases as well, with of course lots of mixtapes with various artists.
